In my West European country right after Trump 2 there was indeed also a very public and demonstrative 'resistance' by well known and less well known 'progressive' Twitterati leaving the platform. Harvesting the guaranteed applause.. Not only announcing their move to the trenches, where those of high(er) morality would continue the good fight, on Twitter but also on LinkedIn, harvesting more applause.
But a Dutch journalist followed some of them for a while on Bluesky and found they continued to follow X and take screenshots of X posts that made them angry and post them on Bluesky so they could be upset about the same things they were upset about when still on Twitter...

One of the most bizarre expressions of modern far leftist ideology in Europe is the merging of the Greens in various countries with reactionary Muslims and even Islamists (and this happened long before oct 7). Basically everything the Greens stand for disgusts the typical Muslim immigrant in Europe and vice versa.
But both sides pretend the divide doesn't exist. While it's even visible in the stats: young Muslim men not seldomly dominate specific crime stats (violence vs gays and women for instance) which supposedly have the special interest of the Greens. But the Greens now only publicly 'worry' about these stats if they can be discussed 'neutrally' i.e. without discussing let alone debating the correlation with immigration (immigrants from other regions aren't arrested at these levels at all, and many are underrepresented in every crime stat we have).
But in France the alliance is now disintegrating at the local level:
She also refused to sign a document, were she to be elected, that would have relegated municipal decisions to a "restricted and secret group," a supposedly known arrangement in migrant-heavy communities in Franc
Among her reasons listed are the homophobic comments within her own local Ecologistes group, specifically saying that she was a “target of homophobia,” according to the text of her announcement posted on X by Fdesouche.

Yes, in that short time when Bluesky really buzzed, the main content of their activity was Twitter, in one way or another.
